So last night (Aug 26th) and Thursday night (Aug 24th) I was invited to walk the runway for world-renowned Philippine Fashion Designer, Renee Salud in the "Philippine Tapestry 2017" show....and of course, my answer was YES!!! For those of you who don't know, I am half filipino. So this opportunity was very special, exciting, and close to home for me. All I can say is that it was an absolute dream come true. The first show took place at the beautiful Arcadian Court in Downtown Toronto and the second show was held at Nathan Phillips Square. Thousands of people came to see the collection and all I was thinking was *don't fall* (lol) while trying to maintain a 'Naomi Campbell' strut. It's harder than you think...I have a great respect for supermodels and the prep that goes on behind the scenes. The show was a success. I did not fall, I had the chance to wear some of the most beautiful clothing, I represented filipinos for a night, and I felt invincible on that runway.
Us Women LEAD
One of my absolute favourite looks from the evening. I had this long train flowing behind me with every step I took. And a huge bow on my back. I would definitely sport this look.
Little Black Dress
This sequin number is what dreams are made of. Every woman needs a dress like this in their closet.
This colourful statement jacket was EVERYTHING.
